Small & Medium Items

Standard Delivery – FREE (3–5 Working Days)
Royal Mail 2nd Class, Evri, or ParcelForce or similar courier.

Express Delivery – £2.50 (2–3 Working Days)
Royal Mail 1st Class, Evri Express, or ParcelForce 24 Hour or similar express courier.

Orders received before 1pm will usually be dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the following working day.

Bicycles

To protect your bike during transit, it will be partially dismantled. This usually means the seat post, handlebars, pedals, and front wheel will need refitting.

⚠️ Important: Your bike must be fully assembled and safety-checked before riding. Assembly without professional assistance is at the owner’s risk. Soanes Cycles accepts no responsibility for injury or damage due to incorrect assembly.

Free Click & Collect

We offer Free Click & Collect on all items:

  • Non-bike items: available immediately after payment
  • Bicycles: please wait for the ‘Order Completed’ email before collecting ⚠️

Non-Mainland UK Delivery

Deliveries to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Isles of Scilly may incur an additional shipping cost. Any extra charges will be displayed at checkout. Please contact us if unsure

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. If the packaging looks damaged on arrival, sign for it as “damaged” ⚠️

Please take clear photos of both the item and packaging and keep all packaging until your issue is resolved. We must be notified within 2 days of delivery.

Returns & Refunds

If you wish to return an item, please contact us first via our online form, email, or phone. For eBay purchases please start a return through eBay.

Return Periods

  • Change of mind: within 14 days of delivery
  • Faulty items: within 30 days of delivery

Returning Items

All items must be:

  • In their original packaging and condition ✅
  • With labels and tags attached ✅
  • Unworn/unused, with hygiene seals intact where relevant ✅

In-store purchases should be returned to the original store.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind: you are responsible for the cost of returning the item
  • If the return is due to our error or a faulty item: we will either arrange a postage label or refund the cost of standard postage (e.g., Royal Mail 2nd Class), always contact us before sending the item back.

Once your return has been approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
